fMRI activation detection with EEG priors [PDF]
The purpose of brain mapping techniques is to advance the understanding of the relationship between structure and function in the human brain in so-called activation studies.

A molecular shielding strategy to convert “protein‐sticky” and “non‐tumor specific” clinical ICG dye, into a “low protein binding” and “tumor‐targeting” dye with prolonged blood circulation and renal clearance is described. These shielded ICGs demonstrate strong tumor accumulation and optimal tissue clearance, resulting in high tumor‐to‐background ...

Hubs, influencers, and communities of executive functions: a task-based fMRI graph analysis
IntroductionThis study investigates four subdomains of executive functioning—initiation, cognitive inhibition, mental shifting, and working memory—using task-based functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data and graph analysis.MethodsWe used ...

Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

The primitive graphs of dual — resonance models
Abstract We show that the problem of constructing and, if necessary, renormalizing general diagrams in dual-resonance models can be reduced to the study of only four primitive graphs, three of which are tadpoles, the last one being a self-energy graph. We discuss consequences and applications of this reduction.

Dynamics on a graph as the limit of the dynamics on a “fat graph”
We discuss how the vertex boundary conditions for the dynamics of a quantum particle constrained on a graph emerge in the limit of the dynamics of a particle in a tubular region around the graph (\fat graph") when the transversal section of this region ...

A graph-theoretical representation of multiphoton resonance processes in superconducting quantum circuits [PDF]
We propose a graph-theoretical formalism to study generic circuit quantum electrodynamics systems consisting of a two level qubit coupled with a single-mode resonator in arbitrary coupling strength regimes beyond rotating-wave approximation.

This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...
