A Low-Noise Micromachined Accelerometer with Reconfigurable Electrodes for Resonance Suppression [PDF]
We present a high-performance capacitive accelerometer with a sub-µg noise limit and 1.2 kHz bandwidth for particle acceleration detection applications.

Delay-induced resonance suppresses damping-induced unpredictability [PDF]
Combined effects of the damping and forcing in the underdamped time-delayed Duffing oscillator are considered in this paper. We analyse the generation of a certain damping-induced unpredictability due to the gradual suppression of interwell oscillations.

Suppression of avoided resonance crossing in microresonators [PDF]
Kerr frequency comb generation in microresonators is enabled by notable developments in fabrication technology and novel nonlinear material platforms. However, even in a low loss and highly nonlinear microresonator, the avoided resonance crossing may hamper reliable frequency comb generation.

Noise Suppression With Cryogenic Resonators
We show that fast technical fluctuations of microwave signals can be strongly suppressed by cryogenic resonators. The experiments were carried out with sapphire resonators cooled to approximately 6 K at frequencies around 11 GHz. Each sapphire crystal was shaped like a spindle with the rotational and crystal axes aligned within a degree.

Mechanical resonance occurs during the operation of a maglev inertially stabilized platform (MISP). The MISP is driven by the motor gear and the gear clearance changes during commutation, which makes the resonance frequency variable.

The medium‐ and high‐frequency resonance between modular multilevel converters (MMCs) and the AC grid has attracted increasing attention due to the frequent occurrence of resonance events in recent years.

The high-frequency vibration and resonance of armature assembly in the hydraulic servo valve are the main reasons for instability and failure. Magnetic fluid (MF) operating in the squeeze mode can be taken as an effective damper for resonance suppression

Resonance suppression from color reconnection [PDF]
We present studies that show how multi-parton interaction and color reconnection affect the hadro-chemistry in proton-proton (pp) collisions with special focus on the production of resonances using the PYTHIA8 event generator. We find that color reconnection suppresses the relative production of meson resonances such as $\rho_{0}$ and K*, providing an ...
