Effect of Angular Speed Variations on the Nonlinear Vibrations of a Rotational Spring-Mass System

A rotating spring-mass system is considered using polar coordinates. The system contains a cubic nonlinear spring with damping. The angular velocity harmonically fluctuates about a mean velocity.
