Improved PR Control Strategy for an LCL Three-Phase Grid-Connected Inverter Based on Active Damping

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Aiming at the problem of power coupling and complicated decoupling in the d-q coordinate system of a three-phase grid-connected inverter, a current closed-loop control strategy based on an improved QPIR (quasi-proportional integral resonant) controller ...

P-resonant control for the neutral point of three phase inverter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this project, a Proportional resonant (PR) current controller is proposed to maintain a balanced neutral point for a three-phase four wire inverter, which can be used in microgrid applications. The neutral-point circuit consists of a conventional

Robust H8 design for resonant control in a CVCF inverter application over load uncertainties [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
CVCF (constant voltage, constant frequency) inverters are electronic devices used to supply AC loads from DC storage elements such as batteries or photovoltaic cells. These devices are used to feed different kinds of loads; this uncertainty requires that

Tweezers controlled resonator

open access: yesOptics Express, 2015
We experimentally demonstrate trapping a microdroplet with an optical tweezer and then enabling it as a microresonator by bringing it close to a tapered fiber coupler. Our tweezers facilitated the tuning of the coupling from the under-coupled to the critically coupled regime with an optical Q of 12 million and microresonator size at the 85 mirons scale.

A multifunctional dynamic voltage restorer for power quality improvement [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Power quality is a major concern in electrical power systems. The power quality disturbances such as sags, swells, harmonic distortion and other interruptions have an impact on the electrical devices and machines and in severe cases can cause serious ...

High-Precision Control of a Piezo-Driven Nanopositioner Using Fuzzy Logic Controllers

open access: yesComputers, 2018
This paper presents single- and dual-loop fuzzy control schemes to precisely control the piezo-driven nanopositioner in the x- and y-axis directions. Various issues are associated with this control problem, such as low stability margin due to the sharp ...
