Effects of Add‐On Icosapent Ethyl With Standard Treatment on Functional Outcomes and Inflammatory Biomarkers in Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Blinded Randomized Controlled Trial

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ischemic stroke, a major cause of mortality and long‐term disability, results from the abrupt cessation of cerebral blood flow due to vascular occlusion or rupture. Icosapent Ethyl (EPA‐EE), approved for hypertriglyceridemia, has anti‐inflammatory and antithrombotic properties that may lessen ischemic damage.

A stability improvement control strategy research for LLC resonant converter with single neuron PI-I double closed loop control

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal
LLC resonant converters are widely used in the aerospace field. However, under traditional single-loop control, LLC resonant converters are prone to instability in the face of high-power load disturbances, which fails to meet the high stability ...

Three-Phase Interleaved LLC Asymmetric Resonant Converter With Capacitive Current Balancing and Reduced Switch Voltage Stress

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Interleaved converters are a typical solution to enhance a current capacity and to reduce current ripples of an input or output port. Conventional interleaved LLC resonant converters need additional switches and passive components with a feedback control

Long‐Term Neurologic Exam Findings in People Diagnosed and Treated During Acute HIV Infection

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Evaluate clinical and laboratory correlates of abnormal neurologic exam findings after acute HIV infection (AHI). Methods Participants from the RV254/SEARCH 010 cohort in Bangkok underwent standardized neurologic examinations at Weeks 0 (AHI), 12, 96, and 288 following antiretroviral therapy (ART).

Quantitative MRI Uncovers Subtle Cortical Damage in Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody‐Associated Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To determine whether myelin‐sensitive quantitative MRI reveals microstructural abnormalities in normal‐appearing cortex (NACtx) in myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), indicating that conventional MRI underestimates remission residual cortical injury.

A unified analysis of converters with resonant switches [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987
Quasi-resonant converters are a recently introduced family of single-switch resonant converters featuring zero-current or zero-voltage switching. Recognition of the topological structure uniting these converters — and the PWM converters on which they are

Baseline Neuroinflammation Stratifies TSPO‐PET Response to Disease‐Modifying Therapy in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate which baseline clinical and imaging characteristics best predict TSPO‐PET‐measurable reduction in glial activation following treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS), to utilize this information for designing more efficient biomarker‐based clinical trials targeting glial activation.

Synchronous Rectification Control of CLLC Resonant Converter Based on Resonant Capacitor Voltage

open access: yesIEEE Access
For resonant converters, synchronous rectification (SR) is an effective way to reduce switch conduction losses. In this paper, a synchronous rectification driving strategy based on resonant capacitor voltage is proposed for CLLC resonant converters ...
