Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis of the Recurrence of Autoimmune Encephalitis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is a disease with a potential for recurrence, and patients receive immunotherapy to prevent it. However, there is no consensus on the duration of immunotherapy. This study aimed to determine the recurrence rate and identify the risk factors for AE to provide guidance on the duration of immunotherapy ...

Dilemma and sustainable development strategy of sharing teaching resources for big data majors in universities based on game theory

open access: yesDiscover Artificial Intelligence
In the process of sharing teaching resources for big data majors in universities, the competition and cooperation between universities are complex, and there are problems such as unfair resource allocation and information asymmetry.

Robustness of asymmetry and coherence of quantum states [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Quantum states may exhibit asymmetry with respect to the action of a given group. Such an asymmetry of states can be considered as a resource in applications such as quantum metrology, and it is a concept that encompasses quantum coherence as a special ...

Location‐Specific Hematoma Volume Predicts Early Neurological Deterioration in Supratentorial ICH

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Early neurological deterioration (END) adversely affects outcomes in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). This study aimed to determine the location‐specific hematoma volumes for END in supratentorial ICH patients. Methods We retrospectively analyzed supratentorial ICH patients presenting from two prospective cohorts.

The i.i.d. State Convertibility in the Resource Theory of Asymmetry for Finite Groups

open access: yes, 2023
We identify exact and approximate conversion rates between i.i.d. pure states under covariant operations in the resource theory of asymmetry for symmetries described by finite groups. We establish the formula for the exact conversion rate by completely specifying the relevant set of resource measures.

Analysis of kinetic asymmetry in a multi-cycle chemical reaction network establishes the principles for autonomous compartmentalized molecular ratchets [PDF]

open access: yes
Kinetic asymmetry is a key parameter describing non-equilibrium chemical systems: it indicates the directionality of a chemical reaction network under steady-state, non-equilibrium conditions. So far, kinetic asymmetry has been evaluated only in networks

Asymmetry-Aware Real-Time Distributed Joint Resource Allocation in IEEE 802.22 WRANs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In IEEE 802.22 Wireless Regional Area Networks (WRANs), each Base Station (BS) solves a complex resource allocation problem of simultaneously determining the channel to reuse, power for adaptive coverage, and Consumer Premise Equipments (CPEs) to ...

Cracking the Code: Genotype–Phenotype Correlation Models in Sarcoglycanopathies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Sarcoglycanopathies are among the most severe limb‐girdle muscular dystrophies (LGMD), though milder presentations have been described. These diseases are primarily caused by missense variants, but the limited predictability of their effect on protein maturation, complex formation, and transport has hindered reliable genotype ...

THE PHENOMENON OF «SURVIVABILITY» IN PROBLEMS OF ENSURING RELIABILITY OF COMPLEX CRITICAL DYNAMIC SYSTEMS

open access: yesНадежность и качество сложных систем, 2023
Background. The XX century has led mankind to solve many new problems, which are characterized by the appearance of structurally and functionally complex systems (SFSS), which required the emergence of tasks to ensure their high reliability and ...
