Utilization of Nursing Home Resources
Medical Care, 1995The total use and cost of nursing homes in Manitoba, for the fiscal year 1991/1992 were analyzed using a population-based health information system. The use of hospital beds by elderly patients for stays of 60 days or more was also analyzed to see if long hospital stays were substituting for nursing home beds.

A strategy of movement and resource utilization
Theoretical Population Biology, 1974We model a specific strategy of movement and foraging, termed a conspecific cuing strategy, motivated by observations on iguanid lizards. This strategy differs from several other possible strategies in that conspecific individuals are used as cues to the distribution of food resources. Both these cues and the resources themselves affect an individual’s

Anti-Commons Theory is an interesting theme that is being developed in the area of property rights since the 80’s. It intends to explain why an “anti-commons” emerges and why resources may be prone to under-use. In an anti-commons situation there are too many exclusion rights that lead to the under-use of resources.

UTILIZING THE COMMUNITY AS A THERAPEUTIC RESOURCE
American Journal of Psychiatry, 19511. The responsibility of a mental hospital does not end with sending the patient out on trial visit. The hospital also has, or should have, some responsibility for finding a proper vocational placement and supervising that placement, when the family are unable or unwilling to do so. 2.

Quartermaster - a resource utility system
2005 9th IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network Management, 2005. IM 2005., 2005Utility computing is envisioned as the future of enterprise IT environments. Achieving utility computing is a daunting task, because enterprise users have diverse and complex needs. In this paper we describe quartermaster, an integrated set of tools that addresses some of these needs.

Efficient resource utilization of FPGAs
Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology, 2009With growing use of FPGAs it is becoming more and more crucial that how to effectively and efficiently utilize the internal resources of these devices. Normal coding techniques and synthesis tools implement every logic to a LUT based architecture. Which utilizes more area on the chip and some fast and dedicated area of the chip remain unutilized. Which

Predicting cloud resource utilization
Proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Utility and Cloud Computing, 2016A major challenge in Cloud computing is resource provisioning for computational tasks. Not surprisingly, previous work has established a number of solutions to provide Cloud resources in an efficient manner. However, in order to realize a holistic resource provisioning model, a prediction of the future resource consumption of upcoming computational ...

Optimizing resource utilization using transformations
1991 IEEE International Conference on Computer-Aided Design Digest of Technical Papers, 1994A transformational approach aimed at improving the resource utilization in high level synthesis is introduced. The current implementation combines retiming and associativity in a single framework. This combination of transformations results in considerable area improvements, as is amply demonstrated by benchmark examples.

Appropriate Utilization of Resources Program
Quality Assurance and Utilization Review, 1987Southern California Kaiser Permanente developed a regionwide Appropriate Utilization of Resources (AUR) Program that links quality assurance to utili zation control. The initial program goal is to signifi cantly reduce the regional inpatient utilization rate across all age groups without sacrificing quality of care or service.

Utilization of Human Resources in Agriculture
The Milbank Memorial Fund Quarterly, 1950VERY discussion of the relations of population and resources or of population and food necessarily starts with certain assumptions. It is proposed here to start with the assumption that the world possesses the necessary resources and that mankind possesses the necessary scientific and technical knowledge to provide adequate food for the people who now ...
