Q-fuzzy sets in UP-algebras [PDF]

open access: yesSongklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), 2018
In this paper, we introduce the notions of Q-fuzzy UP-ideals and Q-fuzzy UP-subalgebras of UP-algebras, and their properties are investigated. Relations between a Q-fuzzy UP-ideal (resp.

Synergistic Tuning of Conformational Dynamics, Electron Tunneling, and Substrate Positioning Enhances Electron Transfer in a P450 Chimera for Calcifediol Biosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A synergistic electron transfer (ET) optimization strategy modulating conformational dynamics, ET pathway, and substrate orientation is proposed for self‐sufficient cytochrome P450s. Guided by this strategy, a P450 variant with improved ET and catalytic efficiency was identified, and the underlying molecular basis was revealed by computational analysis.

Finite Switchboard State Machines Based on Cubic Sets

open access: yesComplexity, 2019
We study the cubic finite switchboard state machines (cubic fssms) intensively. The notions of (resp., good, strong) subsystem of cubic fssm are introduced. We prove that the Cartesian composition of two (resp., good, strong) subsystems of cubic fssms is

Eigen Fuzzy Sets and their Application to Evaluate the Effectiveness of Actions in Decision Problems

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
We propose a new method based on the greatest (resp., smallest) eigen fuzzy set (GEFS, resp., SEFS) of a fuzzy relation R with respect to the max–min (resp., min–max) composition in order to implement the actions of a decisor.

Systematically Engineering for Efficient Production of 3‐Methyl‐1‐Butanol in Escherichia coli

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated metabolic engineering strategy was established for high‐level 3‐methyl‐1‐butanol biosynthesis in Escherichia coli. Molecular dynamics‐guided semi‐rational engineering of dihydroxyacid dehydratase uncovered and relieved key catalytic bottlenecks, while adaptive laboratory evolution enhanced strain robustness.

Chaos in Duopoly Games via Furstenberg Family Couple

open access: yesComplexity, 2019
Assume that H1 and H2 are two given closed subintervals of ℝ and that f2:H1⟶H2 and f1:H2⟶H1 are continuous maps. Let ϒh1,h2=f1h2,f2h1 be a Cournot map over the space H1×H2. In this paper, we study G1,G2-chaos (resp.

Glucuronolactone Promotes Mucin Sulfation to Alleviate Deoxynivalenol‐Induced Intestinal Injury via Microbiota‐Dependent and ‐Independent AHR Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glucuronolactone (GLU) as a natural metabolite of glucose, increases Lactobacillus amylovorus abundance and luminal IAA level to activate AHR signaling. In addition, GLU itself can directly elevate AHR signaling activity independently of microbiota and IAA.

18β‐Glycyrrhetinic Acid and a Nano‐Liposomal Formulation Alleviate Depression‐Like Behaviors via the Microglial mTOR‐Autophagy‐NLRP3 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using a novel zebrafish‐based inflammatory screening strategy, we screened and identified 18β‐glycyrrhetinic acid (18β‐GA) as a promising anti‐inflammatory candidate. We uncover a microglial mTOR–autophagy–NLRP3 axis that constitutes the mechanistic core of 18β‐GA–mediated neuroprotection.

Pyroptosis‐Inducing Engineered Microparticles for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Engineered microparticles co‐delivering geldanamycin and dual nanobodies induce targeted pyroptosis and block PD‐L1 and CD47 pathways, reprogramming the tumor microenvironment and achieving potent antitumor immunity in lung cancer models with minimal toxicity.

Pulse pressure variation and prediction of fluid responsiveness in patients ventilated with low tidal volumes

open access: yesClinics, 2012
OBJECTIVE: To determine the utility of pulse pressure variation (ΔRESP PP) in predicting fluid responsiveness in patients ventilated with low tidal volumes (V T) and to investigate whether a lower ΔRESP PP cut-off value should be used when ...
