Reinforcement of Response Surface Designs

This paper investigates the effect of missing observations in response surface designs and suggests using reinforcement of the design matrix in advance to avoid the consequences of missing observations. The investigations are confined to a central composite design only.

Hybrid Designs for Quadratic Response Surfaces

Hybrid designs were created to achieve the same degree of orthogonality as central composite or regular polyhedral designs, to be near-minimum-point, and to be near-rotatable.
