A Race Model for Responses and Response Times in Tests

Psychometrika, 2015
Latent trait models for responses and response times in tests are often pure statistical models without a close connection to features of the assumed response process. In the present paper, a new model is presented that is more closely related to assumptions about the response process. The model is based on two increasing stochastic processes.

Response Times

Facilities, 1992
Providing people with sufficient control over their local environment is now acknowledged to be an important part of office design. Good control design is related to response times: the better the controls, the faster the benefits for the occupants.

Responsiveness and Timing

2018
This chapter deals with the issue of timing and synchronicity, which is fundamental in the architecture design of computer, communication, and control systems. In fact, if a signal took too long to travel from one point in a system to another exceeding the predetermined length of time, then the system would involve an error, fault, or failure.

Time and Responsibility

World Futures, 2009
The view of time basically depends on the given society and its relation to nature and its economy. Based on the connection of past, present, and future to each other, two systems can be differentiated: cyclical time and linear time. In societies of cyclical time the individual is responsible for nature as part of the community.
