REST-API Implementation for Optimizing Features in the K-Mob Jabar Smart ASN Application

open access: yesCoreID Journal
The Jabar Smart ASN (JSA) application is a staffing application used to access other West Java Province staffing applications, one of which is the K-Mob application. The JSA application cannot be fully used, because there are still some features in K-Mob

Golang and NSG Implementation in REST API Based Third-Party Sandbox System

open access: yesJurnal RESTI (Rekayasa Sistem dan Teknologi Informasi), 2020
A good application development requires a testing phase to ensure there are no errors before it’s released to public. But testing phase becomes difficult if the application development involves features from third parties. The idea to resolve the problem

RESTful Encapsulation of OWL API

open access: yesProceedings of the 5th International Conference on Data Management Technologies and Applications, 2016
OWL API is a high level API for working with ontologies. Despite of its functionalities and numerous advantages, it is restricted to a set of users due to its platform dependency. Being built as a java API the OWL API can only be used by java or related platform users. The major goal of this paper is to design a RESTful web interface of OWL API methods,

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Comparative Performance Analysis of GRPC and Rest API Under Various Traffic Conditions and Data Sizes Using a Quantitative Approach

open access: yesJournal of Applied Informatics and Computing
Web 3.0 presents challenges in efficient data exchange, especially in decentralized systems. REST API (HTTP/1.1) remains widely used due to its broad compatibility but has communication inefficiencies, while gRPC (HTTP/2) offers better performance with ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
