Combining transient dynamics and logistic‐asymptotic growth to study the recovery of two seabird populations after rat eradication
Population Ecology, Volume 67, Issue 4, Page 310-335, October 2025.This study examines the demographic dynamics of two seabird populations on Tromelin Island, 15 years after the eradication of brown rats. The results indicate that these populations are in good health and are expected to continue growing until breeding sites are saturated in about a century.Merlène Saunier, Christophe Barbraud, Maxime Amy, Sabine Orlowski, Jean Hivert, Gabrielle Dicque, Matthieu Le Corre +6 morewiley +1 more sourceRestauration écologique: contexte, contraintes et indicateurs de suivi [PDF]

Several species of Lepidoptera with caterpillars bearing urticating hairs are increasing their range in metropolitan France from year to year, such as the pine processionary (Thaumetopoea pityocampa Denis et Schiffermüller 1775) whose presence was historically limited to the south of France, and which is gradually being observed in the north ...Nicolas Desneux, Andrea Battisti, Anne‐Sophie Brinquin, Rudy Caparros‐Megido, Gilbert Gault, Carole Kerdelhué, Stéphane Krebs, Myriam Mérad, Catherine Pecquet, Tina Rambonilaza, Thomas Le Bourgeois, Philippe Castagnone, Thierry Candresse, Nicolas Desneux, Sandrine Eveillard, Florence Fontaine, Pascal Gentit, Martin Godefroidd, Lucia Guerin, Bruno Hostachy, Hervé Jactel, Eleni Kazakou, Christophe Le May, Eric Lombaert, David Markowski, Charles Manceau, Arnaud Monty, Maria Navajas, Céline Robin, Aurélien Sallé, Frédéric Suffert, Stéphan Steyer, Pierre‐Yves Teycheney, Eric Verdin, François Verheggen, Gilles Meyer, Xavier Bailly, Catherine Belloc, Stéphane Bertagnoli, Alain Boissy, Séverine Boullier, Henri‐Jean Boulouis, Eric Cardinale, Aurélie Courcoul, Alice De Boyer Des Roches, Barbara Dufour, Veasna Duong, Emmanuelle Gilot‐Fromont, Etienne Giraud, Lionel Grisot, Claire Guinat, Nadia Haddad, Elsa Jourdain, Hervé Juin, Sophie Le Bouquin‐Le Neveu, Caroline Le Maréchal, Sophie Le Poder, Yves Millemann, Pierre Mormède, Carole Peroz, Claire Ponsart, Céline Richomme, Claude Saegerman, Jean‐François Valarcher, Isabelle Vallée, Agnès Waret‐Szkuta, Natacha Woronoff‐Rehn, Georges De Sousa, Olivier Adam, Alain Aymard, Jean‐Christophe Cahuzac, Pierre Greve, Philippe Hartemann, Claire Hellio, Dominique Pessel, Vincent Richard, Christophe Soumet, Laura Maxim, Louis‐Georges Soler, Bénédicte Apouey, Luc Baumstark, Céline Bonnet, Thierry Brunelle, France Caillavet, Alain Carpentier, Thomas Coutrot, Cécile Detang‐Dessendre, Serge Garcia, Julien Gauthey, Emmanuelle Lavaine, Christine Le Clainche, Marc Leandri, Youenn Loheac, Sélim Louafi, Eric Plottu, Elodie Rouviere, Maïder Saint‐Jean, Denis Salles, Léa Tardieu, Jean‐Christophe Vergnaud, Jens Abildtrup, Catherine Collignon, Karine Fiore, Emeline Hily, Sandra Sinno‐Tellier, Emmanuel Gachet +105 morewiley +1 more sourceOpinion and report of the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) on the assessment of the impact of fox population dynamics on public health
Food Risk Assess Europe, Volume 3, Issue 2, April 2025.ABSTRACT
The Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) can be hunted as a game species. It may also be listed as a “species likely to cause damage” (ESOD – the acronym in French), for public health reasons among others. Conversely, benefits linked to the presence of foxes are also put forward, such as the predation of rodents carrying zoonotic agents.Emmanuelle Gilot‐Fromont, Isabelle Villena, Elsa Bonnaud, Claude Fischer, Etienne Giraud, Annick Linden, François Meurens, Carine Paraud, Francis Raoul, Céline Richomme, Sandrine Ruette, Michel Trommetter, Isabelle Vallée, Gilles Meyer, Xavier Bailly, Catherine Belloc, Stéphane Bertagnoli, Alain Boissy, Séverine Boullier, Henri‐Jean Boulouis, Eric Cardinale, Aurélie Courcoul, Alice De Boyer Des Roches, Barbara Dufour, Veasna Duong, Lionel Grisot, Claire Guinat, Nadia Haddad, Elsa Jourdain, Hervé Juin, Sophie Le Bouquin‐Le Neveu, Caroline Le Maréchal, Sophie Le Poder, Yves Millemann, Pierre Mormède, Carole Peroz, Claire Ponsart, Claude Saegerman, Jean‐François Valarcher, Isabelle Vallée, Agnès Waret‐Szkuta, Natacha Woronoff‐Rehn, Laura Maxim, Louis‐Georges Soler, Bénédicte Apouey, Luc Baumstark, Céline Bonnet, Thierry Brunelle, France Caillavet, Alain Carpentier, Thomas Coutrot, Cécile Detang‐Dessendre, Serge Garcia, Julien Gauthey, Emmanuelle Lavaine, Christine Le Clainche, Marc Leandri, Youenn Loheac, Sélim Louafi, Eric Plottu, Elodie Rouviere, Maïder Saint‐Jean, Denis Salles, Léa Tardieu, Jean‐Christophe Vergnaud, Philippe Fravalo, Frédéric Auvray, Mickaël Boni, Frédéric Borges, Gilles Bornert, Frédéric Carlin, Catherine Chubilleau, Monika Coton, Georges Daube, Noémie Desriac, Florence Dubois‐Brissonnet, Michel Federighi, Michel Gautier, Michèle Gourmelon, Sandrine Guillou, Stéphane Guyot, Didier Hilaire, Nathalie Jourdan‐da Silva, Claire Le Henaff‐Le Marrec, Sandra Martin‐Latil, Jeanne‐Marie Membré, Eric Oswald, Nadia Oulahal, Pascal Piveteau, Sabine Schorr‐Galindo, Régine Talon, Isabelle Villena, Emmanuelle Robardet, Nathalie Arnich, Karine Fiore, Florence Etoré, Véronique Raimond, Catherine Collignon +97 morewiley +1 more sourceLes solutions fondées sur la nature pour accorder la prévention des inondations avec la gestion intégrée des milieux aquatiques [PDF]

To sustain these benefits, we need to spatially connect communities benefitting from specific ES with landscape features that generate the ES. A variety of process‐based models support ES assessments by estimating the biophysical supply of ES that comes from landscapes.Yiyi Zhang, Hugo Thierry, Lara Cornejo, Lael Parrott, Monique Poulin, Kate Sherren, Danika Van Proosdij, Brian Robinson +7 morewiley +1 more sourceLa phytosociologie, un outil d’aide à la conservation D’Eryngium viviparum GAY
