Resting state fMRI: A personal history
The goal of this review is to describe, from a personal perspective, the development and emergence of the resting state fMRI. In particular, various concepts derived from the resting state data are discussed in detail, including connectivity, amplitude of the fluctuations, analysis techniques, and use in clinical populations.

Deep learning in resting-state fMRI
2021 43rd Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society (EMBC), 2021Modeling the rich, dynamic spatiotemporal variations captured by human brain functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data is a complicated task. Analysis at the brain's regional and connection levels provides more straightforward biological interpretation for fMRI data and has been instrumental in characterizing the brain thus far.

AbstractResting state functional MRI (fMRI) and functional connectivity are widely applied in humans to examine the role of brain networks in normal function and dysfunction. A similar approach can be taken in rodents, either to obtain translational measures in models of brain disorders or to more carefully examine the neurophysiological underpinnings ...
