Reciprocity maps with restricted ramification [PDF]
We compare two maps that arise in study of the cohomology of global fields with ramification restricted to a finite set S S of primes. One of these maps, which we call an S S -reciprocity map, interpolates the values of cup products in S S -ramified cohomology.

Generation of restriction endonucleases barcode map to trace SARS-CoV-2 origin and evolution
Since the first report of SARS-CoV-2 in China in 2019, there has been a huge debate about the origin. In this work, using a different method we aimed to strengthen the observation that no evidence of genetic manipulation has been found by (1) detecting ...

Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism Linkage Map for Arabidopsis thaliana [PDF]
We have constructed a restriction fragment length polymorphism linkage map for the nuclear genome of the flowering plant Arabidopsis thaliana. The map, containing 90 randomly distributed molecular markers, is physically very dense; >50% of the genome is ...

A platform for restriction mapping
Summary: Restriction mapping involves finding certain sites on a DNA molecule. Biologists perform a variety of experiments to obtain data that are subject to error of method. The diversity of experimental data makes restriction mapping a complicated synthesis of information processing and constraint satisfaction. We present a theoretical framework that

A clone-free, single molecule map of the domestic cow (Bos taurus) genome. [PDF]
BackgroundThe cattle (Bos taurus) genome was originally selected for sequencing due to its economic importance and unique biology as a model organism for understanding other ruminants, or mammals.

A database of restriction maps to expand the utility of bacterial artificial chromosomes
While Bacterial Artificial Chromosomes libraries were once a key resource for the genomic community, they have been obviated, for sequencing purposes, by long-read technologies.

Extending Whitney's extension theorem: nonlinear function spaces [PDF]
We consider a global, nonlinear version of the Whitney extension problem for manifold-valued smooth functions on closed domains $C$, with non-smooth boundary, in possibly non-compact manifolds.

On operations on some classes of discontinuous maps
A map $f:X\rightarrow Y$ between topological spaces is called scatteredly continuous (pointwise discontinuous) if for each non-empty (closed) subspace $A\subset X$ the restriction $f|_{A}$ has a point of continuity.

HIFI: estimating DNA-DNA interaction frequency from Hi-C data at restriction-fragment resolution
Hi-C is a popular technique to map three-dimensional chromosome conformation. In principle, Hi-C’s resolution is only limited by the size of restriction fragments.
