A restriction map of IncFIV plasmid R124
Plasmid, 1985A physical and genetic map of the 125.7-kb IncFIV plasmid R124 was constructed using the restriction enzymes Sal1 and EcoR1. Two discrete regions involved in plasmid replication were identified on the plasmid genome. One region was located on a 4.66-kb segment of an EcoR1 fragment at map coordinates 73.87 to 78.53 kb. Another was located within an 8.05-

Optimization of Restriction Fragment DNA Mapping
Journal of Computational Biology, 1998Consider a mapping project in which overlap of clonal segments is inferred from complete multiple restriction digests. The fragment sizes of the clones are measured with some error, potentially leading to a map with erroneous links. The number of errors in the map depends on the number and types of enzymes used to characterize the clones.

Restriction endonuclease mapping of pSC101 and pMB9
Molecular and General Genetics MGG, 1978A restriction endonuclease analysis of the plasmids pSC101 and pMB9 has allowed a determination of the alterations that occurred in the tetracycline resistance locus during the construction of pMB9 from pSC101. The genes for four of the polypeptides involved in tetracycline resistance have been positioned on the restriction endonuclease map of pSC101.

Least-squares method for restriction mapping
Gene, 1978A least-squares procedure has been developed to aid in deriving restriction-fragment maps once the order of cutsites has been determined. A computer program which carries out this method can be used to map either linear or circular molecules.
