Drug Delivery Technologies for the Treatment of Age‐Related Macular Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
There are multiple therapeutic agents available for the treatment of both dry age‐related macular degeneration (AMD) and wet AMD. It is essential to continue innovation by introducing new drug delivery technologies that can incorporate those along with patient compliance and the accessibility of the technology into the early stages of research and ...

Refractive Index‐Corrected Light‐Sheet Microscopy for Macro‐View Cardiovascular Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A refractive index‐corrected light‐sheet fluorescence microscopy system enables macro‐view cardiovascular imaging across organs, adapting to refractive index variations from different optical clearing protocols. By integrating axial sweeping, multi‐view imaging, and a sealed chamber, it extends the field of view, enhances isotropy, and improves safety.

Synergistic Modulation of Microglial Polarization by Acteoside and Ferulic Acid via Dual Targeting of Nrf2 and RORγt to Alleviate Depression‐Associated Neuroinflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Machine‐learning‐directed phytochemical pair ACT/FA, administered at BDD's orthodox ratio, synergistically modulates microglial polarization via dual Nrf2/RORγt targeting to attenuate neuroinflammation and depressive behaviors. This concentration‐dependent synergism replicates the parent formula's efficacy while providing a mechanistic basis for ...

Macrophage Derived Galectin‐3 Promotes Renal Fibrosis and Diabetic Kidney Disease by Enhancing TGFβ1 Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Macrophage‐derived Galectin‐3 amplifies TGFβ1 signaling to drive diabetic kidney fibrosis: a novel therapeutic target. Abstract Over 30% of patients with type 2 diabetes develop diabetic kidney disease (DKD), which has emerged as a major contributor to end stage renal disease.
