Objective Mitogen‐activated protein kinase kinase inhibitors have shown promising results in treatment of plexiform neurofibromas in neurofibromatosis type 1 patients, but data in adults are limited. Micro‐ and nanotopographical cues, substrate stiffness, and mechanical patterning synergistically direct pluripotent stem cell fate and function by tuning cellular perception at the biointerface. Pluripotent stem cells (PSCs), comprised of embryonic stem cells and induced PSCs, hold tremendous therapeutic potential.
