Removal ability of MTA-, bioceramic-, and resin-based sealers from obturated root canals, following XP-endo® Finisher R file: An ex vivo study

open access: yesSaudi Endodontic Journal, 2019
Aim: Removability assessment of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA)-, bioceramic-, and epoxy resin-based sealers, with or without XP-endo® Finisher R file, was achieved.

Prevention of urinary tract infection in spinal cord-injured patients: safety and efficacy of a weekly oral cyclic antibiotic (WOCA) programme with a 2 year follow-up--an observational prospective study.

open access: yes, 2006
POPULATION: Spinal cord injury (SCI) patients with neurogenic bladder have an increased risk for symptomatic urinary tract infection (UTI). Recurrent UTI requires multiple courses of antibiotic therapy, markedly increasing the incidence of multidrug ...

ENDODONTIC RETREATMENT (A CASE REPORT)

open access: yesJournal of Dentistry Indonesia, 2006
The failure of endodontic treatment is commonly caused by errors in preoperative, operative, and postoperative endodontic treatment. Inadequate final restoration of post-endodontic treatment would impact the success of the treatment. Loose restoration is

Outcomes of Primary Endodontic Therapy Provided by Endodontic Specialists Compared to Other Providers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Introduction: The objective of this study was to compare the outcomes of initial non-surgical root canal therapy (NSRCT) for different tooth types provided by both endodontists and other providers.

A group with deep pockets for all finite generating sets [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2007
We show that the discrete Heisenberg group has unbounded dead-end depth with respect to every finite generating set. We also show that, in contrast, it has bounded retreat depth.

Inside-Out Planet Formation. III. Planet-disk interaction at the dead zone inner boundary [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The Kepler mission has discovered more than 4000 exoplanet candidates. Many are in systems with tightly packed inner planets. Inside-Out Planet Formation (IOPF) has been proposed to explain these systems. It involves sequential in situ planet formation at the local pressure maximum of a retreating dead zone inner boundary (DZIB).

Tofacitinib in the management of active psoriatic arthritis: patient selection and perspectives. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Tofacitinib is an oral Janus kinase inhibitor approved for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis (PsA). It provides an alternative option for patients who have had an inadequate response and tolerance to other disease modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs)

Efficacy of two rotary retreatment systems in removing Gutta-percha and sealer during endodontic retreatment with or without solvent: A comparative in vitro study

open access: yesJournal of Conservative Dentistry, 2017
Objectives: The aim of this in vitro study was to compare the efficacy of two retreatment rotary systems in the removal of Gutta-percha (GP) and sealer from the root canal walls with or without solvent.

Physics of Reverse Flow on Rotors at High Advance Ratios [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
When a rotor blade encounters reverse flow in edgewise flight at high advance ratio, a strong vortical structure forms on the leeside of the sharp blade edge. This has unexpected effects on blade aerodynamics. A differential onset velocity gradient due to rotor rotation creates an envelope of reverse flow extending from the hub.
