Nuclear Factor I‐B Delays Liver Fibrosis by Inhibiting Chemokine Ligand 5 Transcription
This study identifies the transcription factor Nuclear Factor I‐B (NFIB) as a key suppressor of liver fibrosis. NFIB expression declines during hepatic stellate cell activation, and its overexpression reduces fibrosis in mice models. The mechanism involves NFIB directly repressing chemokine C─C motif ligand 5 (CCL5), thereby alleviating oxidative ...

The (un)clear effects of invalid retro-cues.
Studies with the retro-cue paradigm have shown that validly cueing objects in visual working memory long after encoding can still benefit performance on subsequent change detection tasks. With regard to the effects of invalid cues, the literature is less

A Modular Vaccine Platform Against SARS‐CoV‐2 Based on Self‐Assembled Protein Nanoparticles
A modular BP26 nanoparticle vaccine platform incorporating the SpyTag/SpyCatcher system enables high‐density, repetitive antigen display with post‐expression flexibility. Conjugation of the SARS‐CoV‐2 RBD to BP26 nanoparticles elicits strong humoral immunity and confers protection against viral challenge in vivo.

An optimised scalable synthesis of H2O@C60and a new synthesis of H2@C60
New high-yielding synthetic routes to the small-molecule endofullerenes H2O@C60, D2O@C60 and H2@C60 are described. The use of high temperatures and pressures for the endohedral molecule incorporation are avoided.

Andreev reflection in layered structures: implications for high T_c grain boundary Josephson junctions [PDF]
Andreev reflection is investigated in layered anisotropic normal metal / superconductor (N/S) systems in the case of an energy gap \Delta in S not negligible with respect to the Fermi energy E_F, as it probably occurs with high critical temperature ...

ITGB1 Regulates Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Development by Modulating the Tumor Microenvironment
ABSTRACT Tumorigenesis and metastasis are frequently attributed to the intricate interplay between cancer cells and the tumor microenvironment (TME). Comprehending the mechanisms and key regulators of cancer‐immune crosstalk in the TME is imperative for developing efficacious immunotherapy.
