A Multi‐Institutional Retrospective Study of 21 Dogs Having Undergone Hypofractionated Radiotherapy for Adrenal Tumours (2017–2024)

open access: yesVeterinary and Comparative Oncology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Radiation therapy (RT) has emerged as a promising non‐surgical approach for treating canine adrenal tumours. This multi‐institutional, retrospective study describes clinical outcomes for 21 dogs having been prescribed a course of hypofractionated image‐guided intensity‐modulated RT (IMRT) entailing delivery of 25–35 Gy total in 5 fractions ...

Giant Atypical Spindle Cell Lipomatous Tumor of Retroperitoneal Origin Presenting with Lung Metastasis and Extension to the Thigh: A Case Report with Literature Review

open access: yesIndian Journal of Medical and Paediatric Oncology
Retroperitoneal liposarcomas are rare, and their variants, atypical spindle cell lipomatous tumor (ASCLT), are rarer. Though ASCLTs are benign, they have high recurrence despite complete surgical excision.

Exercise‐induced effects on atherogenesis and tryptophan catabolism via the kynurenine pathway in an HIV‐associated atherosclerosis mouse model

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract A mouse model of HIV‐associated atherosclerosis (Tg26+/−ApoE−/−) exhibited increased plaque area compared with the ApoE−/− mouse, linked to elevated indoleamine 2,3‐dioxygenase (IDO) activity. IDO catalyses the conversion of tryptophan (TRP) into kynurenine (KYN), measured by the KYN‐to‐TRP ratio.

Gel Immersion Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection Using a Scissor‐type Knife for Superficial Non‐ampullary Duodenal Epithelial Tumors

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 6, Issue 1, April 2026.
Abstract Objectives This study aimed to compare the short‐term therapeutic outcomes between conventional endoscopic submucosal dissection (C‐ESD) and gel immersion ESD (GI‐ESD) for superficial non‐ampullary duodenal epithelial tumors (SNADETs). Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients with SNADETs who underwent C‐ESD or GI‐ESD between

Multiport anterior retroperitoneal access for robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy: an innovative technique for renal tumour

open access: yesFrontiers in Surgery
Robotic Partial Nephrectomy can be performed via transperitoneal or retroperitoneal access. The retroperitoneal approach offers direct access to the renal artery and reduces the risk of intestinal injury, especially in patients with prior abdominal ...
