Loss persistence and returns in the UK
Accounting and Business Research, 2015In this study, we examine whether estimated loss reversal probabilities are fully reflected in UK stock market prices. Overall, we provide evidence of varying degrees and types of loss firm mispricing with respect to estimated loss reversal probabilities.

Estimating Millimeter-Wave-Circuit Insertion Loss from Return-Loss Resonances
2007 IEEE International Vacuum Electronics Conference, 2007Measurements of RF loss in millimeter- wave circuits typically are limited to frequencies that are impedance matched to permit transmission through the circuit. An alternate cold-test method can provide estimates of such RF absorption for frequencies that are not matched by measuring return- loss resonances without regard for coupling conditions.

Return to Work Following Major Limb Loss
2016Amputation results in a permanent change in body structure, which may or may not be partially compensated with prosthetic rehabilitation. The goal after amputation is to reduce activity limitations and increase participation, including return to work as an integral component.

Loan Loss Provisions and Bank Stock Returns
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2019This paper examines the asset pricing implication of loan loss provisions (LLP). LLP is a bank’s dominant accrual and a key determinant of informativeness of banks’ financial reports. We find banks with low LLP have significantly higher returns than banks with high-LLP.
