Testing the Marketing Performance of German Wheat Farmers
ABSTRACT This paper analyses the marketing performance of wheat farmers in Germany. Wheat sales data from 465 individual farms over a 12‐year period are used to test against different market benchmarks. Market benchmarks are constructed by simulating passive trading agents using regional wheat prices.

Cost Pass‐Through in Crisis: Evidence From the German Malt‐Beer Supply Chain
Abstract Global agri‐food supply chains are increasingly exposed to geopolitical shocks, climate volatility, and market consolidation, factors that disrupt traditional price relationships and reshape market power dynamics. Nowhere is this more visible than in the brewing sector, where agricultural raw materials meet complex industrial processing and ...

Challenges and enablers in fluidization technology
Abstract Gas–solid fluidized beds provide excellent heat and mass transfer for high‐throughput operations from coating to catalytic conversion and underpin emerging low‐carbon technologies. Yet industrial reliability, scale‐up, and control lag scientific understanding, particularly as finer, stickier, and more variable feedstocks increasingly challenge

International Equity Flows and the Predictability of U.S. Stock Returns
We examined the link between international equity flows and U.S. stock returns. Based on the results of tests of in-sample and out-of-sample predictability of stock returns, we found evidence of a strong positive (negative) link between international ...

The uncovered return parity condition [PDF]
This paper proposes an equilibrium relationship between expected exchange rate changes and differentials in expected returns on risky assets. We show that when expected returns on a risky asset in a certain economy are higher than the returns that are ...

Autonomous AI‐Driven Design for Skin Product Formulations
This review presents a comprehensive closed‐loop framework for autonomous skin product formulation design. By integrating artificial intelligence‐driven experiment selection with automated multi‐tiered assays, the approach shifts development from trial‐and‐error to intelligent optimisation.

Can output explain the predictability and volatility of stock returns?. [PDF]
This paper examines whether a general equilibrium asset pricing model can explain two important empirical regularities of asset returns, extensively documented in the literature: (i) returns can be predicted by a set of macro variables, and (ii) returns ...

International Stock Return Predictability Under Model Uncertainty [PDF]
This paper examines return predictability when the investor is uncertain about the right state variables. A novel feature of the model averaging approach used in this paper is to account for finite-sample bias of the coefficients in the predictive ...
