RAD sequencing resolved phylogenetic relationships in European shrub willows (Salix L. subg. Chamaetia and subg. Vetrix) and revealed multiple evolution of dwarf shrubs. [PDF]
The infrageneric relationships in shrub willows (Salix L.) were remained unresolved using traditional sequencing markers. We used highly informative RAD sequencing markers to overcome the lack of information and reveal relationships within the two subgenera Chamaetia and Vetrix.
