Reusable Impedimetric Aptasensor
Analytical Chemistry, 2005A novel impedimetric aptasensor using a mixed self-assembled monolayer composed of thiol-modified thrombin binding aptamer and 2-mercaptoethanol on a gold electrode is reported. The changes of interfacial features of the electrode were probed in the presence of the reversible redox couple, Fe(CN)6(3-/4-), using impedance measurements.

Influence Diagrams have been recognized as a suitable formalism for building probabilistic expert systems. Nevertheless, the most part of applications consists in stand-alone systems, concerning a very limited domain. On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence research has outlined Blackboard Architectures as the basis for building expert systems in ...

Reusability of project components, either at the code level or at the conceptual specification level, is considered a fundamental aspect in application development. More recently it as been argued that project histories can support reuse of design decisions.

The goal of achieving a generic architecture for reusable software subsystems remains elusive. This work proposes a model, based on domain engineering, to support improved technique for designing reusable subsystems. The model is based on the concepts of "atomic domain" and the "wrapper" of an atomic domain.

Reusable Rockets, Reusable Geometry
This paper defines Architect-R, a reusable launch vehicle architecture whose reusability is an intrinsic property of geometry and pressure interpretation rather than a function of part recovery or mode switching.openaire +1 more source

Those involved in mathematical modelling are undertaking a creative process. Within any domain there will always be a wide variety of models developed with differences in structure, form, purpose, and complexity. However, there are times when models developed within one domain can find reuse in another quite different domain and this source of new ...

This chapter provides the results of a study that tracked the use of fifty-three online role-plays in Australian higher education over the period 1990–2006, calculating that forty-five of these were a reuse of another role-play. Most reused the design of another role-play (82%) whereas only a handful reused a role-play itself (18%) which confirms the ...
