Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Precipitation Simulations of the O‐Phase in Ti2AlNb Alloys Processed by Laser Powder Bed Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Simulated and experimental evolution of the O‐phase volume fraction during postprocessing of a Ti‐21Al‐25Nb (at.%) alloy processed by laser powder bed fusion. With results of sensitivity to input parameters from a thorough and quantified analysis, the interfacial energy matrix/precipitate is the most relevant input parameter for the simulation of the O‐

The normalized revealed comparative advantage index

The Annals of Regional Science, 2008
In this paper, we propose the normalized revealed comparative advantage (NRCA) index as an alternative measure of comparative advantage. The NRCA index is demonstrated capable of revealing the extent of comparative advantage that a country has in a commodity more precisely and consistently than other alternative RCA indices in the literature.

Analysis of Revealed Comparative Advantage in the E-service market

2008 IEEE International Conference on System of Systems Engineering, 2008
Again, the exportation of services is not new. What is new is the degree to which information and communications technologies are facilitating the rapid acceleration of service exportation, and in the process, persuasively challenging the "traditional" assumption that a worldwide presence requires a physical presence worldwide.
