Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Modeling the Marginal Revenue of Water in Selected Agricultural Commodities: A Panel Date Approach [PDF]
South Africa is a water-stressed country where water availability is an important constraint to economic and social development, and will become even more so in the future if this scarce resource is not managed effectively. In order to manage this scarce

Resolving the Structural Duality of Graphene Grain Boundaries
Cantilever ncAFM resolves the atomic structure of grain boundaries in graphene, revealing coexisting stable and metastable types. Both contain pentagon/heptagon defects, but metastable GBs show irregular geometries. Modeling shows metastable GBs form under compression, exhibiting vertical corrugation, while stable GBs are flat.

Revenue Comparisons for Auctions When Bidders Have Arbitrary Types [PDF]
This paper develops a methodology for characterizing expected revenue from auctions in which bidders' types come from an arbitrary distribution. In particular, types may be multidimensional, and there may be mass points in the distribution.

Zonated osteochondral assembloid implants are engineered through scaffold‐free spatial assembly of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)‐derived chondrocyte organoids and periosteum‐derived osteogenic organoids. Implanted into full‐thickness rat osteochondral defects, they promote hyaline‐like cartilage repair, support subchondral bone formation with ...

Revenue Sharing in Sports Leagues: The Effects on Talent Distribution and Competitive Balance [PDF]
This paper uses a three-stage model of non-cooperative and cooperative bargaining in a free agent market to analyze the effect of revenue sharing on the decision of teams to sign a free agent.

A nano‐interception strategy disrupts pathogenic fibroblast–macrophage crosstalk in chronic heart failure. Scalable Prussian blue nanoparticles selectively sequester CCL2 via ultrahigh‐affinity binding, preventing CCR2+ macrophage recruitment and breaking a key fibro‐inflammatory circuit. This approach demonstrates robust efficacy in murine and porcine
