Neuromorphic Electronics for Intelligence Everywhere: Emerging Devices, Flexible Platforms, and Scalable System Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The perspective presents an integrated view of neuromorphic technologies, from device physics to real‐time applicability, while highlighting the necessity of full‐stack co‐optimization. By outlining practical hardware‐level strategies to exploit device behavior and mitigate non‐idealities, it shows pathways for building efficient, scalable, and ...

Hydrogel‐Based Airway‐on‐Tube With Perfusable Endothelial Lumen and Outward Epithelialization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A hydrogel‐based airway‐on‐tube platform featuring a perfusable endothelial lumen and outward epithelialization is presented. The system supports primary human bronchial epithelial and lung microvascular endothelial coculture under air‐liquid interface conditions.

Intensive Swift and LCO Monitoring of PG 1302–102: Active Galactic Nucleus Disk Reverberation Mapping of a Supermassive Black Hole Binary Candidate

open access: yesAstrophysical Journal
We present an intensive multiwavelength monitoring campaign of the quasar PG 1302−102 with Swift and the Las Cumbres Observatory network telescopes. At z ∼ 0.3, it tests the limits of the reverberation mapping (RM) technique in probing the accretion disk

Phase‐Pure and Size‐Tunable Tin Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A trioctylphosphine oxide modulated protocol allows for the synthesis and study of the optical properties of a broad library of tin halide perovskite quantum dots across multiple A‐ and X‐site compositions with precise size tuning while eliminating unwanted 2D phases.

Hα reverberation mapping from broad-band photometry of dwarf seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 4395

open access: yesMonthly notices of the Royal Astronomical Society
NGC 4395 is a dwarf Seyfert 1 galaxy with a possible intermediate-mass black hole of several $\rm {10^4}$ solar masses in its center. As a well-studied object, its broad line region size has been measured via H$\rm {\alpha }$ time lag in numerous ...

Reprogramming the Immunosuppressive Microenvironment in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer via FAP‐Targeted Nanoprobes for Multimodal Imaging and Photothermal Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) with fibroblast activation protein (FAP)‐directed nanoprobes for multimodal imaging and photothermal remodeling of the immunosuppressive microenvironment to enhance immunotherapy in triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC).

Chiral Altermagnetic Magnetoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, we introduce a previously unexplored class of magnetoelectric materials, which we term chiral altermagnetic magnetoelectrics, in which structural chirality and Néel‐vector‐driven polarization are intrinsically coupled in nonpolar altermagnetic systems.

Photometric reverberation mapping of Markarian 279

open access: yes, 2014
By using standard broad-band VRI photometry we were able to discriminate the variations of the broad hydrogen alpha line from the continuum variations for the active galaxy Mkn 279. Cross-correlating both light curves enabled us to determine the time lag of the broad line variations behind the continuum and thus to determine the BLR size (about 8 light

Negotiating in a Foreign Land: Understanding the Curious Interactions Between Intracellular Mitochondria and Internalized Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Therapeutic nano‐drug delivery systems interact with cellular mitochondria in a multitude of ways. While the complexity of such interactions disrupts the mitochondrial electron transport chain and increases reactive oxygen species production, thereby contributing to nanoparticle toxicity, they also present unique theranostic opportunities in diseases ...
