The reverse Magnus effect in golf balls
The following considers the lift and drag response of three commercially available golf balls. The balls were projected with spin through still air in a laboratory setting to investigate a reverse Magnus effect, where balls move in the opposite direction

Reverse Common Ratio Effect [PDF]
The results of a new experimental study reveal highly systematic violations ofnexpected utility theory. The pattern of these violations is exactly the opposite of thenclassical common ratio effect discovered by Allais (1953). Two recent decision theories—nstochastic expected utility theory (Blavatskyy, 2007) and perceived relative argumentnmodel ...

Analysis of Diode Reverse Recovery Effect on ZVS Condition for GaN-Based LLC Resonant Converter
LLC resonant converter can achieve zero voltage switching (ZVS) for primary-side devices and zero current switching (ZCS) for secondary-side rectifiers. However, the reverse recovery and junction capacitance (Cj) of secondary-side diode critically affect

Kinetin Reversal of NaCl Effects [PDF]
Leaf discs of Nicotiana rustica L. were floated on NaCl in the presence of kinetin or abscisic acid. On the 5th day (14)CO(2) fixation, [(3)H]leucine incorporation, stomatal conductance, and chlorophyll content were determined. Kinetin either partially or completely reversed the inhibitory effects of NaCl while ABA had no effect.
