Sleep Deprivation and Neuronal Hyperexcitation Share Transcriptomic Signatures

This study demonstrated that sleep deprivation induces transcriptomic changes in mice and rats similar to those observed in various models of neuronal hyperexcitation. These findings suggest a potential link between sleep deprivation and neuropsychiatric disorders.
