Reverse Differentiation via Predictive Coding

open access: yesProceedings of the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2022
Deep learning has redefined AI thanks to the rise of artificial neural networks, which are inspired by neurological networks in the brain. Through the years, this dualism between AI and neuroscience has brought immense benefits to both fields, allowing neural networks to be used in a plethora of applications.

Reversible $$G^k$$-codes with applications to DNA codes

open access: yesDesigns, Codes and Cryptography, 2022
In this paper, we give a matrix construction method for designing DNA codes that come from group matrix rings. We show that with our construction one can obtain reversible $G^k$-codes of length $kn,$ where $k, n \in \mathbb{N},$ over the finite commutative Frobenius ring $R.$ We employ our construction method to obtain many DNA codes over $\mathbb{F}_4$

Code Reverse Engineering Problem for Identification Codes [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2012
At ITW'10, Bringer et al. suggest to strengthen their previous identification protocol by extending the Code Reverse Engineering (CRE) problem to identification codes. We first extend security results by Tillich et al. on this very problem. We then prove the security of this protocol using information theoretical arguments.

Reversible DNA codes using skew polynomial rings [PDF]

open access: yesApplicable Algebra in Engineering, Communication and Computing, 2017
In this study we determine the structure of reversible DNA codes obtained from skew cyclic codes. We show that the generators of such DNA codes enjoy some special properties. We study the structural properties of such family of codes and we also illustrate our results with examples.

New binary and ternary LCD codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
LCD codes are linear codes with important cryptographic applications. Recently, a method has been presented to transform any linear code into an LCD code with the same parameters when it is supported on a finite field with cardinality larger than 3 ...

Extended Code Index Modulation Scheme Based on Reversible Elementary Cellular Automata Encryption [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
In order to address the problems of limited pseudo noise(PN)code resources in direct sequence spread spectrum system and degraded bit error rate(BER)performance of code index mo-dulation system, this paper proposes an extended code index modulation(E-CIM ...

Image fusion in the JPEG 2000 domain [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
This paper presents a novel approach to image fusion in the JPEG 2000 domain. In this scheme, compressed images are fused without the need for full decompression. The proposed method can be integrated with the existing JPEG 2000 tools.

A family of formulas with reversal of high avoidability index [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We present an infinite family of formulas with reversal whose avoidability index is bounded between 4 and 5, and we show that several members of the family have avoidability index 5.
