DCT-based Reversible Data Hiding Scheme [PDF]
To enhance the hiding capacity of Chang et al.’s reversible DCT-based data hiding scheme, in this paper we propose another method called a layer-1 data embedding strategy. Our proposed layer-1 strategy considers some areas not used by Chang et al.’s scheme, which we call layer-2 data embedding.

Emerging applications of reversible data hiding [PDF]
Reversible data hiding (RDH) is one special type of information hiding, by which the host sequence as well as the embedded data can be both restored from the marked sequence without loss. Beside media annotation and integrity authentication, recently some scholars begin to apply RDH in many other fields innovatively.

Local binary pattern‐based reversible data hiding
A novel local binary pattern‐based reversible data hiding (LBP‐RDH) technique has been suggested to maintain a fair symmetry between the perceptual transparency and hiding capacity. During embedding, the image is divided into various 3×3 blocks.

PPE-Based Reversible Data Hiding [PDF]
We propose to utilize the prediction-error of prediction error (PPE) of a pixel to reversibly carry the secret data in this letter. In the proposed method, the pixels to be embedded are firstly predicted with their neighboring pixels to obtain the prediction errors (PEs). By exploiting the PEs of the neighboring pixels, the prediction of the PEs of the

An Efficient Prediction-and-Shifting Embedding Technique for High Quality Reversible Data Hiding
The embedding capacity of a histogram-based reversible data hiding technique is primarily determined by the peak height of the histogram. Recently, some studies have tried to embed data in the histogram of prediction errors by modifying the error values ...
