Designing DNA codes from reversible self-dual codes over GF(4)

Discrete Mathematics, 2021
Abstract We present an explicit method for designing DNA codes from reversible self-dual codes over the finite field G F ( 4 ) of order 4. We use Euclidean reversible self-dual codes (Euclidean RSD codes for short) since they have some advantages in designing DNA codes; hence, in this work RSD codes mean Euclidean RSD codes.

On cyclic reversible self-dual additive codes with odd length over Z/sub 2//sup 2/

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2000
Several additive codes of odd length over Z/sub 2//sup 2/ are introduced. These codes are cyclic and reversible. Furthermore, they are self-dual under an appropriately selected binary-valued inner product. Some binary derivatives of these codes have good parameters.

Abelian Codes in Principal Ideal Group Algebras

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2013
We study abelian codes in principal ideal group algebras (PIGAs). We first give an algebraic characterization of abelian codes in any group algebra and provide some general results.

A projection decoding of a binary extremal self-dual code of length 40

Designs, Codes and Cryptography, 2016
As far as we know, there is no decoding algorithm of any binary self-dual [40, 20, 8] code except for the syndrome decoding applied to the code directly. This syndrome decoding for a binary self-dual [40, 20, 8] code is not efficient in the sense that it

On a 5-design related to a putative extremal doubly even self-dual code of length a multiple of 24

Des. Codes Cryptogr., 2014
By the Assmus and Mattson theorem, the codewords of each nontrivial weight in an extremal doubly even self-dual code of length 24m form a self-orthogonal 5-design. In this paper, we study the codes constructed from self-orthogonal 5-designs with the same

Dual Cross-Linked Self-Healing and Recyclable Epoxidized Natural Rubber Based on Multiple Reversible Effects

ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering, 2019
Generally, self-healing research based on commercial rubber is of great significance in sustainable development by extending the lifetime of materials. However, it is still a great challenge so far to prepare recyclable rubber that combine excellent self-

Construction of MDS Euclidean Self-Dual Codes via Multiple Subsets

arXiv.org
MDS self-dual codes have good algebraic structure, and their parameters are completely determined by the code length. In recent years, the construction of MDS Euclidean self-dual codes with new lengths has become an important issue in coding theory.

Classification of LCD and self-dual codes over a finite non-unital local ring

arXiv.org
This work explores LCD and self-dual codes over a noncommutative non-unital ring $ E_p= \langle r,s ~|~ pr =ps=0,~ r^2=r,~ s^2=s,~ rs=r,~ sr=s \rangle$ of order $p^2$ where $p$ is a prime.
