The Journal of Hand SurgeryDespite improvements in our understanding of elbow biomechanics and implant design, early revision are higher following total elbow arthroplasty (TEA) compared with hip and knee arthroplasty. Revision TEA remains a standard but technically challenging procedure with the potential for substantial morbidity.
