Engineering Polar Nanoregions in COFs via Controlled Symmetry Breaking Toward Piezocatalysis

Polar nanoregions (PNRs) are engineered within covalent organic frameworks via asymmetric grafting of highly polar polyfluoroalkyl chains, which enables controlled symmetry breaking. These randomly oriented artificial PNRs dynamically respond to mechanical stimuli and impart relaxation behavior to the COFs (TFB‐TAPT‐FA).

Using photovoice to understand community perceptions of firearm risks and protective factors among Asian Americans

Abstract This study used photovoice methodology to explore Asian Americans' perspectives on the root causes and protective factors of firearm violence in their communities. Photovoice provided a participatory platform for community members to document lived experiences and identify priorities for change.

Macrocyclization of ω‐Isocyano Aldehydes

The ω‐isocyano aldehydes readily undergo cyclization to afford α‐acyloxy, α‐hydroxy, α‐acetamido, and α‐keto macrolactams, as well as tetrazole‐fused macrocycles, via C(sp3)─C(sp2) bond formation, providing access to diverse α‐functionalized medium‐sized lactams and macrolactams. In Quebec, migrants with precarious status (MPS) do not have access to healthcare, although Quebec has a “universal” healthcare coverage.
