Anonymous and Adaptively Secure Revocable IBE with Constant Size Public Parameters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) systems, key revocation is non-trivial. This is because a user's identity is itself a public key. Moreover, the private key corresponding to the identity needs to be obtained from a trusted key authority through an ...

Efficient Conditional Anonymity With Message Integrity and Authentication in a Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Vehicles in a vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) broadcast beacons giving safety-related and traffic information. In an open-access environment, this means that the VANET is susceptible to security and privacy issues. In this paper, we propose a new pseudo-

When Light Challenges Heat: Mechanistic Insights Into a Reaction Competing With Cadogan Cyclisation in Nitro‐Perylenediimides

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Visible‐light irradiation of nitro‐perylenediimide in the presence of triphenylphosphine reveals an unexpected pathway competing with the classical Cadogan cyclization. Mechanistic investigations uncover the rapid and selective formation of bay‐functionalized 1‐iminophosphorane‐12‐hydroxy perylenediimide derivatives.

A More Efficient Conditional Private Preservation Scheme in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
It is a challenging issue to provide a secure and conditional anonymous authentication scheme in vehicle ad hoc networks (VANETs) with low storage space and computational cost. In 2008, Lu et al.

Monosubstituted N‐Arylhydroxylamine Chemistry: Integrating Contemporary Synthetic Approaches for the Efficient Construction of Diverse Heterocyclic Scaffolds

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Monosubstituted N‐arylhydroxylamines represent a unique subclass of hydroxylamines that act as pivotal intermediates in redox transformations and as versatile platforms for further synthetic transformations. They serve as key building blocks in the synthesis of architecturally complex heterocycles and other valuable organic compounds.

Flipping the Card With Enantiodivergent Organocatalysis

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
This minireview elaborates on recent organocatalytic strategies for achieving enantiodivergence—the ability to access both product enantiomers using a single chiral catalyst. It highlights how achiral stimuli, such as solvent polarity and chemical additives, along with minimal catalyst modifications, trigger stereochemical inversions in reactions ...

Routes to Cyclobutadiene and Cycloallyl Pt(II) Complexes: Dicationic Bis(Alkyne) Species as Intermediates

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the synthesis of cationic Pt(II) η3‐cycloallyl complexes, and experimental and computational studies show a ligand bite‐angle dependence of their formation rates. The reactivity of these complexes with Brønsted acids was investigated, leading to the formation of cationic and dicationic Pt(II) η4‐cyclobutadiene complexes ...

Postulates for Revocation Schemes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In access control frameworks with the possibility of delegating permissions and administrative rights, delegation chains can form. There are different ways to treat these delegation chains when revoking rights, which give rise to different revocation schemes. Hagstrom et al.
