Improving productivity of Rex, Satin and Reza rabbits through selection
Selection based on weaning weight in Rex, Satin rabbits and their crosses was done to improve its productivity. Data from the base population (P0), selected population (G0) and an offspring of selected population (F1) were used to estimate heritability using nested analysis method (nested) and best linear unbiased prediction (BLUP).

A Novel Pak1 Activator Ameliorates ER Stress for HFpEF Therapy
Chronic metabolic stress is a major contributor to HFpEF progression. Under prolonged metabolic stress, Pak1 activity becomes impaired, contributing to disrupted ER proteostasis, cardiomyocyte apoptosis, fibrosis, and diastolic dysfunction. Mechanistically, Pak1 overexpression activates the ERK1/2–MNK1–eIF4E signaling axis, promotes translational ...

An Innervated Human Skin Equivalent that Electrically Encodes Mechanical and Thermal Stimuli
An innervated human skin equivalent is integrated with high‐density microelectrode arrays to reveal how engineered free nerve ending–like structures translate touch and temperature into electrical codes. Mechanical indentation and thermal stimulation engage the engineered somatosensory circuitry and evoke distinct firing and waveform signatures ...

An injectable cyanobacteria‐laden hydrogel enables light‐dependent oxygen metabolism engineering for osteoarthritis therapy. Photosynthetic oxygen release under red light irradiation suppresses synovial inflammation via HIF‐1α inhibition and M2 macrophage polarization, while respiratory oxygen consumption in darkness stabilizes chondrocyte HIF‐1α to ...
