An L-Slot Frequency Reconfigurable Antenna Based on MEMS Technology

open access: yesMicromachines, 2023
Given the shortage of spectrum resources and the demand for communication systems of diminutive size, multi-function, and adaptive characteristics, this paper proposes an L-slot frequency reconfigurable antenna based on the MEMS switch.

Cell Cycle Control of Nuclear Metabolism Couples Phosphatidylinositol Signaling to Histone Methylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nuclear metabolism oscillates during cell cycle progression. Quantitative chromatome proteomics and imaging reveal phase‐specific dynamics of PIP5K1A and nuclear PIP2, linking phosphatidylinositol metabolism to histone methylation. This work identifies nuclear lipid metabolism as a previously unrecognized regulatory axis coordinating chromatin ...

Tailoring Vascular‐Immune Homeostasis via Manganese‐DNA Complex‐Armed Immunogenic Extracellular Vesicles for Pancreatic Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that Mn2⁺–tumor DNA complexes encapsulated in dendritic cell (DC)– derived immunogenic extracellular vesicles (EVDC@Mn‐DNA) act as a DC‐specific cGAS– STING activator. EVDC@Mn‐DNA treatment enhances intratumoral DC activation, improves tumor vascular function, promotes CD8⁺ T cell activity, and suppresses pancreatic tumor growth,

Beam Switching Reflectarray Monolithically Integrated With RF MEMS Switches

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2012
A reflectarray antenna monolithically integrated with 90 RF MEMS switches has been designed and fabricated to achieve switching of the main beam. Aperture coupled microstrip patch antenna (ACMPA) elements are used to form a 10 × 10 element reconfigurable reflectarray antenna operating at 26.5 GHz.

Accelerated testing of multi-walled CNT composite electrical contacts for MEMS switches

open access: yes, 2014
The use of gold-coated multi-walled carbon nanotube (Au/MWCNT) bilayer composite surfaces has been discussed in previous work as a method for improving the reliability of switch contacts [1, 2].

Metasurface‐Enabled Active‐Like Passive Radar

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A programmable space‐time‐coding metasurface embeds distinct spatiotemporal tags into ambient wireless signals, allowing passive radar to operate in an active‐like manner. By enabling code‐correlated reconstruction under interference, the approach supports robust real‐time UAV tracking in complex environments and points to intelligent, low‐power ...

Meccanismi di degradazione in switch RF-MEMS per applicazioni spaziali sottoposti a stress impulsivi [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Lo scopo di questa tesi è lo studio dei meccanismi di degradazione degli switch sottoposti a stess impulsivi. Il fine è quello di trovare un modo per accelerare i fenomeni di microwelding per testare eventuali sistemi di restoring.
