RFID Threshold Accelerometer

IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Magazine, 2008
This paper presents the design, manufacture, and testing of a battery-free, wireless threshold accelerometer based on a fully compliant bistable mechanism (FCBM). The FCBM stores threshold acceleration measurements mechanically, eliminating the need for electrical power. The sensorpsilas state can be read wirelessly via a passive RFID tag.

Augmented RFID Tags

2016 IEEE Topical Conference on Wireless Sensors and Sensor Networks (WiSNet), 2016
This paper discusses the evolution of UHF RFID tags towards Augmented Tags. Such an evolution must be compliant with the huge advantages that the tags encompass, in particular full passive feature, compact size, usage flexibility and cost effectiveness. The discussed evolutions are based on the exploitation of some of the properties of the tag antennas

RFID Stamp with RFID Passive Reader

2008 International Conference on Convergence and Hybrid Information Technology, 2008
The RFID system is very much used until it reaches the various services including the physical distribution, circulation, military affairs, health care. The RFID system to a now came to the passive tag itself along the normal distribution route, we could not know.

RFID Tag Vulnerabilities in RFID Systems

2008
More than half a century after its inception, radiofrequency identification (RFID) technologies are finally living up to their long promised capabilities. They are being rewarded with pervasive deployments in closed loop applications and the initial deployments in the even more pervasive open loop supply chain management applications.

RFID reader localization using passive RFID tags

2009 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference, 2009
This paper describes an indoor wireless localization method of an RFID reader using passive tags placed at known locations. The reader location is estimated using the received signal strength indication (RSSI) and trilateration. However, in an indoor wireless environment, the RSSI undergoes fading due the presence of unavoidable scatterers.

In-network RFID Data Filtering Scheme in RFID-WSN for RFID Applications

2013
In the integration of wireless sensor networks (WSN) and radio frequency identification (RFID), RFID data can use WSN protocols for multi-hop communication. Due to readers overlapped regions in dense areas and due to readers multiple read cycles, a lot of duplicate data is produced. Transmitting such duplicates towards base station waste node energies.
