Individual plant recognition using the RGB color model
Melecon 2010 - 2010 15th IEEE Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference, 2010Changes in light intensity cause major difficulties in the plant recognition. In order to solve this problem, we started the development of a plant recognition method, with high efficiency in variable lighting conditions. This will be implemented to an autonomous mobile robot for weed control.

RGB-D scene classification via heterogeneous model fusion
2016 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), 2016We study the problem of scene classification for RGB-D images in this paper. Firstly we analyze the difference between the RGB and depth images. And then based on the difference, an efficient method is implemented to make use of the RGB and depth images and make a well fusion for the RGB and depth features.

Consistent 3D models from unorganized RGB-D images
2014 IEEE 27th Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (CCECE), 2014This paper presents a system for automated 3D reconstruction of unorganized RGB-D images. Our algorithm is based on image feature matching and graph theory. We use a multiple-view registration scheme based on graph connectivity in order to reduce propagation errors found in motion. We estimate motion between two-views with 3D points back-projected from

FasterSal: Robust and Real-Time Single-Stream Architecture for RGB-D Salient Object Detection
IEEE transactions on multimediaRGB-D Salient Object Detection (SOD) aims to segment the most prominent areas and objects in a given pair of RGB and depth images. Most current models adopt a dual-stream structure to extract information from both RGB and depth images.

Rapid Photorealistic Blendshape Modeling from RGB-D Sensors
Proceedings of the 29th International Conference on Computer Animation and Social Agents, 2016Creating and animating realistic 3D human faces is an important element of virtual reality, video games, and other areas that involve interactive 3D graphics. In this paper, we propose a system to generate photorealistic 3D blendshape-based face models automatically using only a single consumer RGB-D sensor.

Study on moving object detection based on RGB color model
2012 2nd International Conference on Applied Robotics for the Power Industry (CARPI), 2012The traditional background difference method is based on gray image. Some information is lost when color image is transformed into gray image. So it is difficult to discriminate different colors with similar gray values and easily disturbed by noise and shadows. In this paper, the background difference is based on RGB color model. It is proposed to use

Eye-Model-Based Gaze Estimation by RGB-D Camera
2014 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Workshops, 2014This paper proposes a method of eye-model-based gaze estimation by RGB-D camera, Kinect sensor. Different from other methods, our method sets up a model to calibrate the eyeball center by gazing at a target in 3D space, not predefined. And then by detecting the pupil center, we can estimate the gaze direction.

Geometric and Semantic Modeling from RGB-D Data
2019With the increasing availability of RGB-D cameras, using RGB-D data for geometric and semantic modeling has received significant interest in recent years. Geometric modeling aims to build an accurate geometric representation for 3D objects or scenes, whereas semantic modeling focuses on analyzing and understanding semantic objects in the captured ...
