TMTNet: A Transformer-Based Multimodality Information Transfer Network for Hyperspectral Object Tracking

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
Hyperspectral video with spatial and spectral information has great potential to improve object tracking performance. However, the limited hyperspectral training samples hinder the development of hyperspectral object tracking.

Microstructural Evolution and Vacancy Defect Formation in Mn–Mo–Ni RPV Steel Under Low Cycle Fatigue: Insights From EBSD and PALS

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

LIANet: Layer Interactive Attention Network for RGB-D Salient Object Detection

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
RGB-D salient object detection (SOD) usually describes two modes’ classification or regression problem, namely RGB and depth. The existing RGB-D SOD methods use depth hints to increase the detection performance, meanwhile they focus on the quality

Two distinct red giant branch populations in the globular cluster NGC 2419 as tracers of a merger event in the Milky Way

open access: yes, 2013
Recent spectroscopic observations of the outer halo globular cluster (GC) NGC 2419 show that it is unique among GCs, in terms of chemical abundance patterns, and some suggest that it was originated in the nucleus of a dwarf galaxy. Here we show, from the

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Multilayer Soft Photonic Arrays Inspired by Cephalopod Skin for High‐Density, Independent, and Multimodal Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A vertically stacked, DEA‐driven photonic array inspired by cephalopod skin, featuring highly crystalline colloidal crystal gels with vivid color, low FWHM and scalability is presented. The multilayer design removes lateral pixel interference, achieving near‐100% fill factor with fully independent RGB actuation.

RGB-D Tracking of Complex Shapes Using Coarse Object Models [PDF]

open access: yes2019 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), 2019
This paper presents a framework for accurately tracking objects of complex shapes with joint minimization of geometric and photometric parameters using a coarse 3D object model with the RGB-D cameras. Tracking with coarse 3D model is remarkably useful for industrial applications.

Lithium Intercalation in the Anisotropic Van Der Waals Semiconductor CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report the lithium intercalation in the layered van der Waals crystal CrSBr, revealing strongly anisotropic ion‐migration dynamics. Optical and electrical characterization of exfoliated CrSBr shows lithium diffusion coefficients that differ by more than an order of magnitude along a‐ and b‐directions, consistent with molecular dynamics simulations ...

Feasibility of Combining Deep Learning and RGB Images Obtained by Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for Leaf Area Index Estimation in Rice

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2020
Leaf area index (LAI) is a vital parameter for predicting rice yield. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) surveillance with an RGB camera has been shown to have potential as a low-cost and efficient tool for monitoring crop growth.
