Biochemistry of the erythrocyte Rh polypeptides: a review. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
The clinically important Rh blood group system is complex, consisting of multiple distinct antigens. Despite clinical recognition for over 50 years, the Rh blood group antigens have remained poorly understood on a molecular level until the recent ...

Free‐Standing Supramolecular Pyridine N‐Oxide‐Silver(I) Metallogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A comprehensive analysis of pyridine N‐oxide‐silver(I) trifluoroacetate complexes reveals remarkable mechanical strengths that enable the creation of free‐standing objects with shape control, reaching dimensions of up to centimeters and shedding new insights into the gelation mechanisms.

Detection of Del Phenotype in RH negative blood by using chloroform elution technique and specific sequence Primer-Polymerase Chain Reaction (SSP-PCR) / Nor Arina Che Mohd Noor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
DEL phenotype is known as the weakest D antigen in the Rh blood group system. Serologically, DEL phenotype commonly mistyped as true Rh negative. An anti-D immunization may occurred in Rh negative recipient who received blood from the DEL phenotype donor.

Distribution of ABO and Rh blood groups in a major ethnic group of the West Iran, the Kurdish population

open access: yesAsian Journal of Medical Sciences, 2014
Introduction: ABO and Rh are the most important blood group systems with various distributions reported for different populations. There are no reports referring to the distribution of the ABO/Rh blood groups in Iranian Kurdish population. Therefore, the

Spatial Coordination Structure‐Driven Enzyme‐Like Selectivity in Single‐Atom Nanozymes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Sun et al. reviews recent progress in enhancing the enzyme‐like catalytic selectivity of SAzymes through the rational design of their spatial coordination structures. They emphasize the structure‐activity relationships of various attributes of these coordination structures in promoting selective catalytic behavior, the strategic design of coordination ...

Targeted Local Delivery via Fiber‐Embedded Flexible Microchannels Integrated with Film‐Based Implantable Probes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
In this study, a fiber‐embedded drug delivery channel for implantable microprobes, demonstrating the first functional drug delivery system using flexible LCP‐based probes, is developed. The design incorporates fibers for site‐selective drug delivery and electrical functions. The utilization of monolithic thermal bonding simplifies fabrication.
