Abstract The present study reported the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using aqueous R.prinoides leaf extract as a reducing agent. Plant extract is easily available, generally safe and nontoxic. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.
