Impact of parton energy loss and nPDFs on J/ψ production in proton-nucleus collisions
The impact of parton energy loss and nuclear parton distribution functions (nPDFs) on J/ψ production in proton-nucleus collisions are investigated by means of the E866, LHC and RHIC experimental data.

GLOBAL OBSERVABLES AT RHIC [PDF]
Main characteristics of the charged particle dN_ch/deta and transverse energy dE_T/deta production measured in Heavy Ion collisions at RHIC energies are presented in this article. Transformation of the pseudo-rapidity shape, relation to the incident energy and centrality profile are described in a systematic way.

Tensor Condensate Accompanied by Chiral Transition in a Strong Magnetic Field
We investigate tensor condensates and chiral condensates in the (2 + 1)‐flavor Nambu–Jona–Lasinio model at finite temperature and density in the presence of a strong magnetic field. The emergence of the tensor condensate is attributed to the four‐fermion interaction.

Highlights from STAR heavy ion program
Recent experimental results obtained in STAR experiment at the Relativistic heavy-ion collider (RHIC) with ion beams will be discussed. Investigations of different nuclear collisions in some recent years focus on two main tasks, namely, detail study of ...

Double Longitudinal Spin Asymmetry in Neutral Pion Production in Polarized p+p Collisions at sqrt(s)=200 GeV at PHENIX [PDF]
A major goal of the RHIC spin program is to measure \Delta g, the gluon contribution to the proton's spin. Measurements by PHENIX of the double longitudinal spin asymmetry, A_LL, of the neutral pion production at mid-rapidity in polarized proton ...

Constraining the nuclear gluon PDF with inclusive hadron production data
The nuclear parton distribution functions (nPDFs) of gluons are known to be difficult to determine with fits of deep inelastic scattering (DIS) and Drell-Yan (DY) data alone.

Production of Secondaries in High Energy d+Au Collisions
In the framework of Quark-Gluon String Model we calculate the inclusive spectra of secondaries produced in d+Au collisions at intermediate (CERN SPS) and at much higher (RHIC) energies.

On Extracting Thermal Parameters and Scenario in High‐Energy Collisions
The inconsistent thermal parameters derived from various models in high‐energy collisions are examined. A comprehensive literature review suggests model‐independent parameters to address these inconsistencies, based on the average transverse momentum 〈pT〉 and root‐mean‐square transverse momentum pT2.
