Response of Arabidopsis Clones to Toxic Compounds Released by Various Rhizoctonia Species [PDF]
Response of 3 Arabidopsis clones to 41 strains of eight Rhizoctonia species was studied in model experiments. The seed germination was decelerated in most of the cases, although the inhibitory effect varied within large limits.

WRKY Transcription Factors: Integral Regulators of Defence Responses to Biotic Stress in Crops
ABSTRACT Crops are continually challenged by biotic stresses, including fungal, bacterial and viral pathogens and insect pests, which cause substantial yield and quality losses worldwide. WRKY transcription factors constitute a plant‐specific and functionally diverse family that is central to immune regulation.

Rhizoctonia -Scots pine interactions : detection, impact on seedling performance and host defence gene response [PDF]
Rhizoctonia spp. are ubiquitous soil inhabiting fungi that enter into pathogenic or symbiotic associations with plants. In general Rhizoctonia spp. are regarded as plant pathogenic fungi and many cause root rot and other plant diseases which results in ...

Shallow Genome Sequencing for Phylogenomics of Mycorrhizal Fungi from Endangered Orchids [PDF]
Most plant species form symbioses with mycorrhizal fungi and this relationship is especially important for orchids. Fungi in the genera Tulasnella, Ceratobasidium, and Serendipita are critically important for orchid germination, growth and development ...
