ROTATIONAL DIFFUSION OF RHODAMINE 6G IN HUMAN BLOOD SERUM

Photochemistry and Photobiology, 1984
Abstract —The time‐dependent rotational relaxation of Rhodamine 6G in fresh and dried human blood serum was investigated using picosecond phasefluorometry. Measurements were also carried out in aqueous solutions of amino acids, glucose, urea, and bovine serum albumin to evaluate our model for the interactions.

Photocatalytic activity of ZnO composites against rhodamine B and rhodamine 6G

Fibers and Polymers, 2015
The development of nanostructures based on interaction of organic matrix and metal oxide particles (such as polypyrrole/zinc oxide composites) introduces interesting advantages due to synergistic/complementary photocatalytic activity of resulting material.

Synthesis of isomers of rhodamine 575 and rhodamine 6G as new laser dyes

Tetrahedron Letters, 1999
Abstract Two new laser dyes of the rhodamine family, substituted at C-1 and C-8, were prepared by condensation of phthalic anhydride with 3-ethylamino-5-methylphenol. Two methodologies have been investigated for the preparation of the latter.

Rhodamine 6G impregnated porous silica: A photoluminescence study

Materials Science and Engineering: C, 2005
Abstract The optical properties of rhodamine 6G dye confined in porous silica are reported. Photoluminescence properties of embedded chromophores in mesoporous hosts can be affected by the surrounding matrices: shifts in emission spectra and variations of photoluminescence quantum yield are found as compared to dye solutions.

Spectra of the lowest excited singlet states of rhodamine 6G and rhodamine B

IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1979
Excited states of laser dyes were generated in solution by an intense 6 ns laser pump pulse tuned to the absorption maximum of the longest wavelength, ground state absorption band. They were interrogated by a shorter, simultaneous, monochromatic pulse of smaller diameter, concentric and collinear with the pump, having a crossed polarization.
