Spectral modification of mode structures in silver nanoparticle doped Rhodamine 6G [PDF]
We show in our work that very narrow (FSR~0.09 nm) lasing modes can be formed from rhodamine 6G solution confined within quartz (SiO2) cuvette with suitable pumping scheme by Q switched Nd:YAG laser. With introduction of silver nanoparticles of different concentrations in rhodamine 6G we show that such lasing modes can be modulated as well as tuned in ...

Low-Threshold and Narrow Linewidth Diffusive Random Lasing in Rhodamine 6G Dye-Doped Polyurethane with Dispersed ZrO$_2$ Nanoparticles [PDF]
We report on low-threshold and narrow linewidth intensity feedback random lasing in Rhodamine 6G dye-doped polyurethane with dispersed ZrO$_2$ nanoparticles. Depending on the dye/particle concentration, the lasing threshold is (6.8--15.4) MW/cm$^2$ and the linewidth is (4--6) nm. The lasing threshold as a function of nanoparticle concentration is found

Rhodamine 6G (Rh6G) is modified by ethylenediamine to obtain rhodamine with amine functional groups (Rh6G-NH2). Rh6G-NH2 as an initial core is used to bond coumarin derivatives.

Experimental feasibility of molecular two-photon absorption with isolated time-frequency-entangled photon pairs [PDF]
Entangled photon pairs have been promised to deliver a substantial quantum advantage for two-photon absorption spectroscopy. However, recent work has challenged the previously reported magnitude of quantum enhancement in two-photon absorption. Here, we present an experimental comparison of sum-frequency generation and molecular absorption, each driven ...

Vacuum Rabi splitting and strong coupling dynamics for surface plasmon polaritons and Rhodamine 6G molecules [PDF]
We report on strong coupling between surface plasmon polaritons (SPP) and Rhodamine 6G (R6G) molecules, with double vacuum Rabi splitting energies up to 230 and 110 meV. In addition, we demonstrate the emission of all three energy branches of the strongly coupled SPP-exciton hybrid system, revealing features of system dynamics that are not visible in ...

The Laser Active Element Based on Dye on Porous Alumina
Luminescent properties of Rhodamine 6G in porous alumina matrix have been investigated. From the SEM images the pore diameter is determined to be ~ 50 nm and the distance between the pores to be about 250 nm.

Photodegradation and self-healing in a Rhodamine 6G dye and Y$_2$O$_3$ nanoparticle-doped polyurethane random laser [PDF]
One of the fundamental difficulties in implementing organic dyes in random lasers is irreversible photodegradation of the dye molecules, leading to loss of performance and the need to replace the dye. We report the observation of self-healing after photodegradation in a Rhodamine 6G dye and nanoparticle doped polyurethane random laser.
