Two-dimensional electronic femtosecond stimulated Raman spectroscopy

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2013
We report two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy with a femtosecond stimulated Raman scattering probe. The method reveals correlations between excitation energy and excited state vibrational structure following photoexcitation. We demonstrate the method

Selective Inhibition of Integrin β3 Topology Provides a Safer Antithrombotic Strategy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Current integrin αIIbβ3 inhibitors effectively reduce thrombosis but also increase bleeding risk. During thrombosis, high shear blood flow can directly activate the integrin αIIbβ3 via a distinct topological change in the β3 transmembrane domain, independent of hemostatic platelet signaling.

Transdermal Delivery of an mRNA‐Liposome Vaccine via Dissolving Microneedle to Preserve Vaccine Activity and Enhance Immune Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An mRNA‐liposome vaccine via dissolving microneedles (ML‐DMN) enables efficient skin‐targeted delivery while preserving mRNA integrity and allowing sustained antigen expression. Unlike intramuscular (IM) injection, ML‐DMN engages skin‐resident immune cells, activates antigen‐presenting cells (APCs), and induces strong T cell and cytokine responses at ...

Liver‐Targeted Gallium‐Polyphenol Network by Disrupting the ROS/NETs/PANoptosis Axis for Precision Acute Liver Injury Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Acute liver injury (ALI), driven by diverse insults such as drug toxicity and ischemia‐reperfusion, poses a high mortality risk and lacks targeted therapies. While reactive oxygen species (ROS), neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), and a coordinated cell death pathway PANoptosis have been implicated, their interplay as a unified pathogenic ...

Fluorescence monitoring of capilarry electrophoresis separation in a lab-on-a-chip with monolithically integrated waveguides [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Femtosecond-laser-written optical waveguides were monolithically integrated into a commercial lab-on-a-chip to intersect a microfluidic channel. Laser excitation through these waveguides confines the excitation window to a width of 12 μm, enabling high ...

Construction of a MOF‐Based Snap‐Top Delivery Nanosystem for Powerful Dual‐Responsive Synergistic Colitis Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A snap‐top delivery nanosystem based on an azobenzene metal–organic framework achieves targeted release of 6‐mercaptopurine via acid‐stable frameworks and hypoxia/pH dual‐responsive β‐cyclodextrin gates. This multifunctional platform integrates three synergistic mechanisms: precision drug delivery to inflammatory sites, intrinsic antioxidant properties

Fluorescence resonance energy transfer between organic dyes adsorbed onto nano-clay and Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films

open access: yes, 2010
In this communication we investigate two dyes N,N' -dioctadecyl thiacyanine perchlorate (NK) and octadecyl rhodamine B chloride (RhB) in Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films with or with out a synthetic clay laponite.

Photofading of Rhodamine 6G in Polymer Matrix.

open access: yesNIPPON KAGAKU KAISHI, 1994
It has been tried to solidify dye laser, but the attempt was not succeeded, yet, for highly fading speed of the laser dyes. We investigated the photofading rate of Rhodamine 6G, the dye for dye laser, in vinyl polymer matrices, and it was found that the fading rate was proportional to e value of the monomer which composes of the polymer. It was also ...
