Observation of magnetic domains well below thep surface of a thick opaque specimen is fairly difficult because of a lack of adequate experimental techniques. We, therefore, have developed a bulk-sensitive magnetic microscope utilizing a new magnetooptical effect called x-ray magnetic circularly polarized emission before.
