Multistep DBT and regular rational extensions of the isotonic oscillator

open access: yes, 2011
In some recent articles we developed a new systematic approach to generate solvable rational extensions of primary translationally shape invariant potentials.

Macroscopic Market Making Games

open access: yesMathematical Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Building on the macroscopic market making framework as a control problem, this paper investigates its extension to stochastic games. In the context of price competition, each agent is benchmarked against the best quote offered by the others. We begin with the linear case.

Dark and bright hump solitons in the realm of the quintic Benney-Lin equation governing a liquid film

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
This study explored and examined soliton solutions for the Quintic Benney-Lin equation (QBLE), which describes the dynamic of liquid films, using the Riccati modified extended simple equation method (RMESEM).

Exploiting Chordality in Optimization Algorithms for Model Predictive Control

open access: yes, 2017
In this chapter we show that chordal structure can be used to devise efficient optimization methods for many common model predictive control problems.

Fractional Novel Analytical Method (FNAM): An Improved Innovative Numerical Scheme to Solve Fractional Differential‐Difference Equations

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 2, February 2026.
This paper introduces the Fractional Novel Analytical Method (FNAM), a Taylor‐series‐based technique for approximating nonlinear fractional differential‐difference equations. Built on the Caputo derivative, FNAM achieves rapid convergence without relying on Adomian polynomials, perturbation schemes, or transform methods.

Exploring the Diversity of Kink Solitons in (3+1)-Dimensional Wazwaz–Benjamin–Bona–Mahony Equation

open access: yesMathematics
The Wazwaz–Benjamin–Bona–Mahony (WBBM) equation is a well-known regularized long-wave model that examines the propagation kinematics of water waves. The current work employs an effective approach, called the Riccati Modified Extended Simple Equation ...

An Improved Rapidly‐Exploring Approach to Off‐Road Path Planning by Leveraging Dynamic Velocity Constraints and Trajectory Smoothing

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
ABSTRACT Off‐road path planning and navigation often struggle with complex challenges, such as diverse surface conditions that demand adaptability, stability‐sensitive vehicle dynamics on low‐adhesion terrain, and the persistent trade‐off between real‐time performance and path quality.

A constructive approach to the soliton solutions of integrable quadrilateral lattice equations

open access: yes, 2009
Scalar multidimensionally consistent quadrilateral lattice equations are studied. We explore a confluence between the superposition principle for solutions related by the Backlund transformation, and the method of solving a Riccati map by exploiting two ...

Enhanced Linear Quadratic Regulator‐Based Strategy for Seamless Transition Between Microgrid Operation Modes

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper presents an LQR‐based strategy for seamless transition between grid‐forming and grid‐following inverters in microgrids. The proposed design integrates the comprehensive control loops of the grid‐forming and grid‐following inverters. A systematic, gradient‐based optimization framework is used for selecting the weighting matrices.

The model equation of soliton theory

open access: yes, 2007
We consider an hierarchy of integrable 1+2-dimensional equations related to Lie algebra of the vector fields on the line. The solutions in quadratures are constructed depending on $n$ arbitrary functions of one argument.
