Chandrasekhar equations for infinite dimensional systems [PDF]

open access: yes
Chandrasekhar equations are derived for linear time invariant systems defined on Hilbert spaces using a functional analytic technique. An important consequence of this is that the solution to the evolutional Riccati equation is strongly differentiable in

Isospectrality of spherical MHD dynamo operators: pseudo-Hermiticity and a no-go theorem

open access: yes, 2002
The isospectrality problem is studied for the operator of the spherical hydromagnetic alpha^2-dynamo. It is shown that this operator is formally pseudo-Hermitian (J-symmetric) and lives in a Krein space.

An Improved Rapidly‐Exploring Approach to Off‐Road Path Planning by Leveraging Dynamic Velocity Constraints and Trajectory Smoothing

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
ABSTRACT Off‐road path planning and navigation often struggle with complex challenges, such as diverse surface conditions that demand adaptability, stability‐sensitive vehicle dynamics on low‐adhesion terrain, and the persistent trade‐off between real‐time performance and path quality.

Oscillation Criteria Based on a New Weighted Function for Linear Matrix Hamiltonian Systems

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2011
By employing a generalized Riccati technique and an integral averaging technique, some new oscillation criteria are established for the second-order matrix differential system U′=A(x)U+B(t)V, V′=C(x)U−A∗(t)V, where A(t), B(t), and C(t) are (n×n)-matrices,

Solutions for certain classes of Riccati differential equation

open access: yes, 2007
We derive some analytic closed-form solutions for a class of Riccati equation y'(x)-\lambda_0(x)y(x)\pm y^2(x)=\pm s_0(x), where \lambda_0(x), s_0(x) are C^{\infty}-functions.

Enhanced Linear Quadratic Regulator‐Based Strategy for Seamless Transition Between Microgrid Operation Modes

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper presents an LQR‐based strategy for seamless transition between grid‐forming and grid‐following inverters in microgrids. The proposed design integrates the comprehensive control loops of the grid‐forming and grid‐following inverters. A systematic, gradient‐based optimization framework is used for selecting the weighting matrices.

Geometric Asian Option Pricing in General Affine Stochastic Volatility Models with Jumps [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we present some results on Geometric Asian option valuation for affine stochastic volatility models with jumps. We shall provide a general framework into which several different valuation problems based on some average process can be cast ...

Darboux class of cosmological fluids with time-dependent adiabatic indices

open access: yes, 2000
A one-parameter family of time dependent adiabatic indices is introduced for any given type of cosmological fluid of constant adiabatic index by a mathematical method belonging to the class of Darboux transformations.

Partial Observability of Implied Volatility Matrices: Identification and Covolatilities Filtering

open access: yesMathematical Finance, Volume 36, Issue 1, Page 48-66, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Whereas data on implied volatilities are available for a large number of assets, this is less frequently the case of implied covolatilities. We introduce a new approach based on static and dynamic Wishart models to solve this problem of missing data.

Oscillation criteria of second order neutral delay dynamic equations with distributed deviating arguments

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2010
In this paper we establish some oscillation theorems for second order neutral dynamic equations with distributed deviating arguments. We use the Riccati transformation technique to obtain sufficient conditions for the oscillation of all solutions ...
